§ 86-6. Vehicle requirements.

It shall be the duty of any authorized person hauling or transporting along, upon or through any street, alley or other public place within the city any stone, gravel, sand, dirt, manure, offal, rubbish, slops, garbage, refuse or other loose or offensive material or substance, to provide and use for such purpose a vehicle or conveyance so constructed as to prevent the articles abovementioned from dropping, sifting through or otherwise being strewn on, in or along such street, alley or public place, and to prevent the escape of disagreeable or noxious odors therefrom.
